Below is general information about AMCA membership categories for localities and authorities (referred to as “Agencies”) as well as for environmental engineering and consulting firms. For localities and authorities, there are two membership categories based on treatment capacity:

• Agency Members are public agencies with NPDES permitted treatment capacity of at least 5 MGD in the aggregate.

• Associate Agency Members are public agencies with NPDES permitted treatment capacity of less than 5 MGD in the aggregate.

For engineering firms, there is one membership category:

• Consultant Members are business entities with at least one office in Missouri or are under contract to an Agency Member.
